Why is it important?

Building muscle mass is hard because our muscle tissue is always breaking down faster than it is being built. UNLESS we are training enough, sleeping enough and EATING enough. In order to prevent the breakdown of muscle tissue you need to be getting enoughfood into your body and doing so often. When it comes to gaining muscle mass, it isn’t about listening to your hunger cues. It’s actually about eating despite them.

 

What does it involve?

● Set an alarm for every 2-3hrs during the day, reminding you to eat. High Nutrient Shakes come in handy here!

● Eat even when you aren’t hungry -it’s the way to GAIN.

 

How will I know I’ve done it properly?

This is a habit that you will check off at the end of the day. You’ll know you’ve completed this behavior if you’ve eaten at each of your 2-3 hour intervals for a full day. This behavior is more ambitious than the previous month, but it is ESSENTIAL to your ability to put on muscle mass!

 

How do I know when it’s time to move on?

Remember, every new behavior has to be intentional before it becomes organic. So set up reminders, notes and positive triggers to help you to incorporate this new practice into your life. You’ll be ready to move to your next habit once you begin practicing this behavior consistently for 80% of a month.
